Ready to join the Estrellitas family? Our process is simple:
ADMISSIONS PROCESS & TIMELINE
Tour Our School
Begin by completing a tour of our school. View a list of our upcoming virtual tour dates.
Submit Your Application + $100 Fee
Once you are ready to apply, please complete our online application form. We require a $100 non-refundable application fee at the time fo your application. Note: please use the PKEEP form if you are applying for DC's Free Pre-K program.
Estrellitas will email you to confirm receipt of your application. Our wait list is managed according to the ages of the children and conducted on a first come, first serve basis. Siblings of currently enrolled children are given priority.
Enrollment Season
During enrollment season (late March/early April), families will be contacted according to their position on the waitlist. If you accept your spot, you will be required to meet with the director and potential teacher to assess if Estrellitas is the right place for your family. To accept your spot, there is a $600.00 one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee.
Enrollment Paperwork
Once you have accepted your spot, you will receive your enrollment packet. This includes the contract, emergency contact form, allergy form, care away from home form, travel authorization form, COVID waiver, and DC health record form (ages 3+).
On-Boarding & Orientation
Once your enrollment paperwork has been received, you will be sent a link to sign up for 1CORE family and Transparent Classroom (our internal platforms). A parent orientation is held two weeks prior to the first day of school and a meet and greet with classroom teachers.

Tour Our School

Please note that our tours are virtual right now due to COVID-19. During our virtual tour you will have the opportunity to see our building, classrooms, and children learning during morning lesson time. You will also be able to ask questions you may have about our programs and the Montessori learning method.
